Manchester City has claimed victory in the 2023 FA Cup Final, defeating Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley Stadium. Ilkay Gundogan netted a brace for City, while Bruno Fernandes scored a consolation goal for United.
Gundogan opened the scoring in the first half, expertly heading in a cross from Kevin De Bruyne. He doubled City's lead in the second half with a composed finish after being played through by Jack Grealish.
Fernandes pulled a goal back for United in the dying minutes, but it proved to be too little, too late. City held on to secure its seventh FA Cup title, moving them one ahead of Manchester United's record total.
